We want to know who you are, your story and why you've chosen to spend your life with your person. And we consider it an honor to share our story with you. THE EXPERIENCE
Having your photo taken can feel absolutely daunting and down right terrible, so we set out to redefine the entire experience. We pour ourselves into each wedding, interaction and experience, so that you can feel confident and comfortable with us. We’ve been in your shoes and have had those same feelings in front of the camera. Someone you don’t know on the other side shouting at you asking you to do things that feel forced and awkward and honestly, not like you at all. That’s why our first step is to get to know each other.
Before anything is booked, we want to grab drinks or FaceTime with you and just talk. What’s your personality like? Your partners? Who are you together? The best photos are taken when both sides understand each other. We get to make a decision together on whether or not we want to move forward. After all, it is a relationship we’re building, so we each have a say. And what if we’re not a good fit? That’s totally okay. There will be someone else you connect with. And if we are a good fit, then you can bet it’ll be the beginning of an amazing friendship!
Through-out the coming months of planning, we’ll be in touch guiding you through all the obstacles, so when the day arrives for the engagement shoot there’s no awkward handshakes, but hugs all around. We get to catch up on life, your family, your pets, have a couple drinks and run around together. And we’ll capture some amazing photos in the process. We don’t care about the perfect pose. We care about the connection and experience you have with us and each other. A time to fiercely love on one another, share kisses, hugs and laughs, and enjoy some quality time together. You will look back on the experience and remember the entire day, how you felt, why you had tears in your eyes or were wearing your biggest smile. That is what we want to capture. The feeling of the experience.
When the wedding day finally arrives, you’ll be feeling the nerves, the excitement and the rush of adrenaline. But you won’t feel worried about meeting your photographers for the first time. You get to enjoy the day you’ve been planning for months, knowing that you can be yourselves, that we’ll capture the details, all the emotions, the in-between moments and even the moments you may have missed.
